It sounds like she should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. Without an examination, if is impossible to know the cause. She could have an infection, pancreatitis, heart/lung problem, endocrine disease, back/neck pain, etc. Your vet can do a complete physical examination, run lab-work, and take x-rays, if needed, to help diagnose.
