My senior dog has a leg bump he licks. Is it a wart or serious?

Hi, we found a bump on my 9 year old bichon dogs leg. He keeps licking it. We don't know if it's a wart, or something more serious. I do have a couple pictures but don't know how to send them.

Bumps on legs that are causing the dog to lick them, are most often tumors which need to be examined. I suggest you take Buehrle to your vet for an exam. The vet will like to do a FNA (Fine Needle Aspirate) and look at the cell material from the tumor, or he may decide that the tumor may need to be surgically removed , foregoing an FNA or biopsy.
