Congrats on your new dog, but I'm sorry he's limping! Limping is a sign of pain in dogs, and I would rest Larry for the next couple of days. This could be caused by a muscle or ligament strain, and 72 hours of rest may help him. No running, jumping, or playing. Take him out to toiler on a lead only, and bring him right back in when he's done. If he is still limping after 72 hours, or the limping gets worse during that time, then I would take him into the vet for an exam. Please do not give him any human pain medications, many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given.
