Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 2 years and 11 months old | 16 lbs
When we come home, even if we were not gone for long, our dog will be in the corner of the room acting terrified and submissive. when she is called she will come but will pee along the way. We try to ignore her until she feels safe to leave the corner but will stay there for an hour and won't come out until you ask her to. We have a kennel for her now which seems to maker better because she has a safe place. Randomly she will act submissive & terrified for no reason even if we are home that day

It sounds like Miley has developed some separation anxiety, and it may be carrying over to when you are home. You've done absolutely the right thing by kenneling her when you are gone, and I would give her treats and toys in the kennel to make it a fun place as well as a safe place. I would also suggest using DAP. It's a pheromone diffuser that you plug in that helps dogs with anxiety, and that may help with the behavior when you are home as well. It's worth taking her into the vet for a check up just to make sure everything is ok with her medically because sometimes these behaviors may indicate an illness. I would definite recommend trying the DAP, it can be used when you are gone and at home, to see if that also helps with her anxiety.
