My puppy threw up a pig ear. Could this be why she's vomiting?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 28 lbs

My puppy just threw up twice, the first was just filled with her dinner however the second had a relatively large piece of a pig's ear in it. Would the chunk of pig ear be the cause of the vomiting? She has been fine all day and her food was what she always eats.

The pig's ear is probably the cause of vomiting and it might not be the end of it, it may happen again in the next 24 hours, keep a close eye on Misha in order to monitor her vomiting and withhold food for at least 8 hours. If she continues vomiting- take her to the vet.
