My dog has FCE and bladder issues; why is he bleeding from penis?

My pet was diagnosed with fce in his lower spine on Monday night. Since then he is recovering mobility in his back legs quite well but has still issues with his bladder and bowels and has now started leak blood from his penis! He is not in any noticeable pain I am now not sure about the blood ? Regards. Pet's info: Dog | Great Dane | Male | unneutered | 174 lbs

He could have a bladder infection from not emptying his bladder completely. Your vet can check a urine sample to see if he has an infection and needs an antibiotic. Glad he is recovering from the fce.
