My cat has a brown bumpy lump on his neck leading to his back. Any idea as to what this is? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 8 years and 6 months old | 13 lbs

It is very difficult to say much without at least seeing a photo. Can you please repost your question with a photo? Without a photo the only advice I can give you is to have Jasper checked out by your vet. Lumps are usually either abscesses (infection) or tumors (cancer). Other options are cysts, parasites or wounds but again, hard to say without seeing it.
