Does Petco offer puppy vet checks and how much is microchipping?

I want to purchase a new puppy but I want to get a vet check before fully purchasing it. Does Petco offer exams? Also how much is a micro chip

Petco does offer exams for puppies, just call your local Petco to make an appointment with the veterinary clinic. I think it's an excellent idea you do a vet check before purchasing, that is extremely responsible ownership! A microchip typically costs around $45-$80. Speak to the clinic to get an exact price. Microchipping can be done at a Petco/Vetco. The cost is $15. You can contact the store directly for availability as it may only done during Vaccine Clinic events. You can get Carla microchipped there if not at the RP store. (Small world, I grew up in Rocky Point) :-)

Can I take my dog Moose too a Petco location and have him neutared and microchipped?
Typically Petco doesn’t do spays/neuters on site unfortunately. You will have to visit a low cost spay/neuter facility or your local vet clinic. They may do microchipping, you will just have to call your local Petco to see if they have this program set up near you. Best wishes!

Unfortunately, there are no veterinary clinics located in Petco stores in your area - yet. You can get vaccinations done at Vetco vaccination clinics, as well as heartworm and flea and tick prevention. Be sure you get Tars in before he is 6 months of age, and he won't need a heartworm test. He should also be dewormed against intestinal parasites. Searching for a facility to tattoo State Registration numbers on my dog. Does Petco offer this service?
No, this is not a service that Petco generally provides. Most veterinary clinics do not offer this service either. I would call around to veterinary clinics in your area to find out for sure. You can also contact the Humane Society, as they are the ones that typically do this for animals. You can have a microchip administered and have all of this information embedded into the microchip for identification as well. This service is provided at most veterinary hospitals and Vetco clinics to provide this service as well. Mist vaccine clinics only do vaccines and not exams or provide records past vaccinations. I would recommend that you find an established Vet for Piper. How much is a rabies vaccine and a micro chip for 20 lb dog
Costs do vary based upon where you live and if you go to a vaccine clinic or not. My two dogs are due for their annual examinations with vet. Do you need records from the vet's office in order to see them? What is your price for check up examinations?
It is definitely preferable to have records from a previous vet, especially if there are any ongoing medical conditions. Most vaccines are given once per year, so proof isn’t necessary unless it has been less than a year. Exams and vaccines vary in cost depending on your area. In my practice in New York City, they typically end up being about $100 for an exam and two vaccines. I hope this helps!
