My cat is lethargic and won't eat after spay. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 7 months and 28 days old | 6.7 lbs

My cat daisy just got fixed on Wednesday Nov 22 and shes been fine since but this morning she turned and now she’s quite lethargic, won’t eat and very much not herself. Is there anything innocent that would be causing this or is this pet er worthy

I would be very concerned for a complication from the surgery or even a severe toxicity issue. It’s best to take her in to the ER vet, especially since she is a cat. Cats are masters at hiding mild illness, so once they show severe symptoms like this to take them in right away. I hope Daisy is able to make a full recovery. Best of luck to you. Take care.
