I have a strange question. what can i do to stop my 1 1/2 year old labrador eating his own feces. I do try to pick it up in my garden, as soon as i see it but sometimes its difficult in the dark.He eats dried kibble. Is there something natural i can add to his food to help this stop? Ive tried to reward him for "not" doing it but it still doesnt work.

You can add FOR-BID to his food. It is a powder that imparts a bitter taste to the stool. Purchase it from your veterinarian, online or in pet stores. Dogs will eat stool out of boredom/curiosity, if hungry or in an attempt to correct a nutritional deficiency. Review the diet with your vet and make sure the amount of food being fed is appropriate. Check the yard before letting him outside or leash walk him each time.
