My dog's eye got darker overnight. Is it serious and what's the cause?

My dog left eye got darker over night, should I be worry and what’s the caused of this?

It is difficult to say much without at least a photo. If the eye seems darker then most likely the pupil is extremely dilated. It would not be normal for only one eye to have a dilated pupil. Usually, the cause for uneven pupil size (anisocoria), is trauma of some sort or a problem with the nerve to the eye. My recommendation is to get Leo to your vet for an examination. You really should not wait to long to have an eye problem evaluated because if it is something serious then he may lose his vision if left untreated. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
