My puppy Yogi is 8 weeks old. On Tuesday - Thursday we gave him a little bit of puppy milk and on Friday he got diarrhoea. He has had diarrhoea on and off since then and has been lethargic and sleeping a lot. Today he was asleep and got up in a hurry and had to go to the toilet 4 times in a row, really runny. He might have eaten the smallest amount of cat food but not enough to make him sick.

At eight weeks of age your puppy should do fine without any puppy milk. In fact sometimes milk, even that meant for puppies, can cause diarrhea. I recommend keeping him on his normal puppy food with access to fresh water at all times. If the diarrhea continues, he has any vomiting, diarrhea has any blood or he continues to get weak he needs to be seen by your veterinarian. Puppies of that age and size can develop low blood sugar if they become dehydrated or stop eating for more than a day. Therefore I recommend keeping a bottle of Karo syrup or corn syrup at home and applying a small amount to his gums if he becomes weak/non responsive and then contacting your veterinarian right away.
