My old dog has sudden muscle swelling and pain. What's wrong?

Daisy-13 years.27 lb terrier mix Suddenly today muscle swelling, soreness, stationary. Eating but little, still drinking. Chest muscles swollen & sore to touch, noticed a slight heat, limping slightly. Less than 24 hrs symptoms. Yelping at sudden movements. Wont lift head completely but still moving around.

Hi. It sounds like daisy is in pain from something. I would recommend with this amount of pain and swelling, I would recommend getting her to the ER. It is hard in this situation to know what the cause it. It could be an injury, a muscular inflammatory condition, and infectious process, and many other possibilities. Good luck.
