Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | neutered | 5 years and 10 months old | 8 lbs
I have a small, 8lb maltipoo who has started shaking his whole body and acting depressed. He’s up to date on vaccines ( as far as I know). He will be 6 years old in December. He ate his food yesterday and I think he ate a little today. There are no specific spots of pain—I poked around on him to try to find any. When should I take him to the vet? Should I give it a couple of days or go immediately?

Poor Skiba! If he is shaking and acting depressed then he really should be examined by a vet to determine the cause and treat. He could have a problem with his back or neck causing him discomfort. Your vet can prescribe an anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxer, and/or pain medications, if needed, to help make him more comfortable. Call your vet and schedule an appointment as soon ad possible. Hope he feels better soon!
