Why has my dog suddenly stopped eating his food and favorite treats?

For past 15-20 days , my dog doesn’t have complete food that is offered to him (both processed food and chicken) . He only eats about 30% of what is offered. Although he is active , has lot of water — he has all of a sudden developed a habit of not eating his meals .. Even some food like ice-cream which was his favourite, he has stopped having it. We are very worried if there is any serious underlying issue with him. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 1 month old

I agree. If he isn’t eating normally then something else is going on. Any vomiting? Are you having to fill his water bowl more often? I would definitely recommend an appointment with your veterinarian. They may recommend an X-ray or some blood work for more information. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon.
