My 10-month-old puppy is throwing up food and water. Is it serious?

Good day, I have a 10 month old puppy. She usually vomits bile when she is on a empty stomach. However, the past few days I noticed her eating has changed. She stopped eating the wetfood she was on. Earlier this morning I feed her an egg with some dry food. About four hours after she threw up her food. Since then she has thrown up 4 times. Food and water. Should I be too concerned?

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. With these symptoms and her age, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her. I would consider having her tested for parvo virus and have abdominal x-rays taken as this may also be a GI foreign body obstruction. I hope this helps! If you are unable to get to the veterinarian right away, I would initiate a bland diet as directed below. If the vomiting persists for more than 24 hours on the bland diet I would strongly suggest getting her seen by a veterinarian sooner rather than later. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I am also available via consultation if needed.
