My dog has been getting what looks like scrapes on his body. They are kinda bloody and he doesn't like them touched. What could this be?

Hi there. It sounds like your dog maybe having an allergic skin reaction and now maybe having a secondary bacterial infection. This could be caused by his skin contacting something that made him have an allergic reaction, or to something he ate. I would recommend bathing him with an oatmeal shampoo to calm his skin but if these scabs are raw and bleeding I would recommend having your vet see him because he’ll probably need antibiotics. Hope this helps and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
