Hi, Simba has been receiving treatment for a corneal ulcer. he was prescribed drops called isathal, chloramphenicol and remend (corneal gel). he now has his eye wide open and doesnt appear to be in any pain still loves his food and treats etc but there is still a cloudy aspet to his eye and a slight "circle" around the ulcer site itself, is this a sign that it is healing? will the cloudiness go? we have a follow up appointment Saturday.

From the pictures you have posted, it looks like handsome Simba could be suffering with keratitis which might be secondary to the presence of the ulcer. He might need to have other antinflammatory drops into the eye. It is best to wait for your appt on Sat and see when the eye is stained with fluorescin if the ulcer has gone completely and take it from there. Good luck !
