8-week Boxer puppy has belly lump, no energy, shaking. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 29 days old | 10 lbs

Hello we have a 8 week old boxer that is being treated for Giardiasis his treatment started yesterday. We noticed a lump on his belly going to his penis. He has no energy and is shaking sometimes. He was just a the vet on friday but they are closed today. Any suggestions??

It is red? Is it getting any larger? That is a common place for an umbilical hernia. (They are born with those). Usually they don’t cause any problems, but occasionally intestines can herniate through the hole and make them very sick quickly. This can be life threatening. I would encourage you to have him seen by an emergency veterinarian as soon as possible. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon.
