Pet's info: Cat | Scottish Fold | Female | spayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 8.8 lbs
How much water should a only indoor, medium activity 3.7 kg cat drink? Most of her food is grain free(%32 Protein level) one protein source dry food and she eats malt paste(a little amount) every day. I want to know the normal amount and the minimum amount.(Her creatinine level 2.2)If the creatinine level was normal how much should she drink? She doesn’t like wet food.

Ideally a cat should consume about 60ml/kg per day; dry food is generally about 10% moisture so for every 100g of food fed she is taking 10ml of fluid and should drink the remainder. Many cats do not voluntarily drink enough, using water fountains, offering rain or cooled boiled water and cooled chicken or fish broth can help to tempt her. I recommend also running a urine sample to see how over concentrated it is
