Pet's info: Dog | German Shorthaired Pointer (duplicate) | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 28 days old | 5 lbs
My 2 puppys are vomiting about every 15 min and i cant make out what they ate. It looks kind of like chopped corn and pieces of what looks like a slug or something. They have a strong appetite but dont want water at all. What could be the cause and a home remedy for treatment? I cant afford the vet bills so anything would help then sitting here watching them suffer.

Poor puppies. It is very possible your pets ingested something they were supposed to. The picture does resemble corn or could just be their dog food and some other substance that is unidentifiable based on the photo. There aren't 100% effective home remedies for a generalized upset stomach situation b/c there are many possible causes of an upset stomach in pets, and prescription medication is often needed. However, you can wait to see if the vomiting improves over the next 12 hrs by fasting them (no food, only water offered). Then slowly introduce small amounts (about 1/4-1/2 of their normal food amount) of a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese every 6-8 hrs to see if this helps to settle their stomach. Offering small amounts of Pedialyte (non-flavored) diluted with water can help prevent dehydration in the puppies as well. However, if they continue to vomit at the frequency of every 15 minutes for longer than 1 hr, they need to be seen immediately by a vet to check for toxins or serious infections that would require medical treatment. Here is a website link that may help you afford a necessary vet visit. http://m.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_veterinary_care.html If they do improve over the next 12 hrs, then continue to feed the bland diet for 3-4 days, then slowly re-introduce their normal puppy food over the course of a week, to prevent agitating their stomach again. I hope that your puppies both feel better soon and make a full recovery from their vomiting episodes. Best wishes and take care.
