Ouch! The diagnosis will depend on where in the eye that he is red. The eyelids and conjunctiva can get red with allergies, foreign object or corneal ulcer. The white part (sclera) can get red secondary to trauma or diseases such as glaucoma. The inside of the eye can get red with high blood pressure or coagulopathy ( bleeding problem). The best thing for him would be an exam by a veterinarian. They can do some diagnostics to Check eye pressures, tear levels and check for ulcers. They will come up with a treatment plan to get him feeling better! Thanks for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach
