Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 years and 2 months old | 12.5 lbs
My 7 yr old cat has been having 2-3 bouts of watery/ mucous diarrhea for the past day. 3 days ago, he was taken to the vet due to a vomit session and no eating a few hours later. A blood test shows he had high glucose, cholesterol, and ALT readings. A pancreatic test shows negative and the vet stated x-rays showed normal. He is currently on 90mg Denamarin tablets once a day - could this cause diarrhea? He is eating/drinking normally, still playful, but licking abdominal area more since the vet.

The Denamarin would not cause diarrhea. I suspect that this is related to the gastrointestinal disease that was causing the vomiting before. It doesn't appear to be a serious cause based on the recent tests, but seems like the cause (could be an infection, or parasite) of the problems is not controlled well. I recommend taking Stripes back to your vet for a recheck. Watery diarrhea is concerning, because he could get dehydrated if not treated soon enough, so it would be best to have him seen within the next day if possible. I hope that helps and Stripes gets better soon.
