Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Female | spayed | 8 years and 9 months old | 93 lbs
I have an 8 yr old yellow lab that bloats excessively when she eats or drinks anything. I've tried many brands, type and style of food. But even when she only drinks water, her girth nearly doubles in size and she becomes lethargic and salivates alot. Could this be a medical issue?

That is certainly not normal. I would highly encourage you to have her seen by your veterinarian. Take food with you so you can demonstrate. X-rays will likely be recommended. I am worried about an abdominal mass that may be present and when the stomach distended is it doesn’t have anywhere to go but out to the sides causing a bloated appearance. Good luck and I hope she is ok.
