Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Every time my cat comes in from outside she comes in rubbing her ears on my legs and on the walls. Sometimes it seems like she is uncomfortable is that normal?

That is normal behavior. I think she is happy to be with you and inside and is rubbing her face on you and the wall as a comfort expression. Most cats like to be rubbed on the face, around the ears and under the chin so try that when she comes in and she'll probably start purring.
