It's a little irritated/inflamed but nothing out of the ordinary, especially if Smokey has been neutered in the past few days. just keep an eye on it, i would think it should look much better within a few days from now, if it doesn't -take him back to your vet to get it checked.

    Sometimes after a neuter the scrotum can appear irritated or a little swollen. Monitor the incision at least twice a day to make sure there is no inflammation/swelling or discharge. If you notice any of these, or if Aragorn seems uncomfortable, contact your vet. Keep an e-collar (cone) on Aragorn for 7 – 10 days post-surgery to prevent him from licking the incision. Keep the incision clean and dry (no bathing or swimming) for two weeks. Do not put any creams on the incision site or wet it/ clean it unless directed to do so by your vet.
