My puppy has bloody diarrhea and isn't eating. Should I go to the vet?

Good morning my dog is 9 months old this morning his poop was loose with blood in it and it was yellowish green..and he really wasn't eat yesterday can you please help me with so I'll know if I have to take him to the vet or it's something I can take care of myself. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 8 lbs

It sounds as Benji is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti nausea injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
