Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 29 days old | 7 lbs
I have a 4 month old pug puppy, he has had all his shots, about a week ago, for some reason he started having diarrhea, i researched what could help him, it said give him boiled chicken so I did but it hasn't seemed to help should I make him an apappointment with my veterinarian?

Hi there! Yes! Ceasar will need a fecal test to rule out parasites as the cause which are quite common in puppies. This can be done at your local veterinary hospital. I hope this helps and best to you and Ceasar!

Hello. Puppies can get diarrhea for a number of reasons (parasites, bacteria, viruses, something they shouldn't have eaten) but if it is not resolving on the chicken bland diet I would recommend going to your veterinarian because he probably need some medications to help stop the diarrhea. Your vet can also identify exactly what's causing it. I would not advise giving him any medications without your vets advice.
