My newborn kitten has scabs around its mouth. Is this serious?

Hi, my cat had a litter if 5 kittens 4-5 days ago and I noticed one of them has got scabs that have popped up I didn't notice they're in both corners of his mouth. Should I be alarmed?

Scabs on such young kittens are not a normal occurrence. I would definitely recommend that he be evaluated by a veterinarian. Hopefully they are nothing to worry about, but at that age they can become very sick very quickly. Good luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
