My cat needs apartment vaccines, no records. Is re-vaccinating safe?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 8 lbs

I have to get my cat vaccinated to move into a new apartment. He's 10, he's had other shots but I have no records. I was wondering if he can get all the shots required, and what are they? Will it harm him to be vaccinated twice if that is what happens?

The vaccines are usually given once then repeated in a year, then every 3 years based on your state laws. There is no harm in having them redone for this instance. They typically need a rabies vaccine and a feline leukemia, panleukopenia, chylamdia, and rhino virus combination vaccine
