What can I do if my cat has white worms and I can't see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 7 months old | 10 lbs

I have two cats and with in the last week or so noticed small white worms coming from the back end of them. I called a few vets but they are not taking new animals. So I wanted to know what I could do myself to get rid of the worms.

Vets legally have to treat and animal in need so you should be adamant about getting them seen when you call. In this instance as long as the cats seem well you can buy wormer for them. I would buy the wormer direct from the vet or a good pet shop and I would recommend a product such as milbemax. You should do this every few months.
