Cefpodoxime is an antiobiotic that is great for skin problems, but I have never used it for stomach problems. The most common side effect that we see from this product is some diarrhea which is possible with any antibiotic. If a veterinarian hasn't examined Stuffy, I would recommend that before giving any medication. If your vet has examined Stuffy and recommended this medication, then I wouldn't have any concerns about using it. I hope that was helpful.
