My kitten throws up nightly and cries. Does she need a vet visit?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Bobtail | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 22 days old

My month old kitten keeps throwing up at night before bed. I read online it could be that she is eating too much too fast so I sta eyes feeding her small amounts of Royal Canin through out the day but she still threw up. She also kind of crys/warbles right before it happens. Do I need to take her to my local vet?

I would recommend taking Pippa to the vet. IT is not normal for a kitten to vomiting. They can have hair balls but that should not be happening this often. It is possible that Pippa has parasites which can cause vomiting but also diarrhea. I think with all young animals it is best for them to have a good physical exam to help determine the cause for vomiting and provide proper treatment
