My cat's URI isn't better after meds. What can I do on a budget?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 13 lbs

my rescue cat had an upper respiratory infection, so i took him to a vet. the vet prescribed clavamox 63.5 twice a day for two weeks. the cat still has nasal dripping and sneezing. whats next, im concerned. and on a budget. what can i do.

Since there are still symptoms of the infection then he needs to be rechecked for further treatment. Some cats need pulse therapy medicine to help keep it under control. Also a lot of upper respiratory infections in cats are viral induced and take time to fully resolve. They do make anti virals you can add to the food to help clear the infection also
