My adopted cat cries constantly, nothing helps. What can I do?

We adopted a 2 year old DSH and she cries constantly. It is for attention and we have tried calming collars, relax medication in her food but nothing seems to work. What can we try to help her stop crying.

Hi and thank you for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach this afternoon! I am sorry to hear Rue has been crying constantly. Sounds like you have been trying everything. If you just adopted her, it may take a while for her to settle in to her new home. If you have used calming chewables, be sure they contain L-theanine in them. Feliway spray can also help. If it has been a while and she is still having frequent crying, there may be a medical issue causing her pain or discomfort and I would encourage you to bring Rue into a veterinarian so she can be examined. Thank you for your post and I wish you and Rue the best!
