Pet's info: Cat | Egyptian Mau | Female | 1lb
Hi there I found this kitten on the street, her eyes were shut and she wasn't eating or drinking at all, I rushed her to the vet. They removed some hardened substance from her eyes with cotton dipped in water and opened her eyes. She screamed with pain. He then said that she will be blind in her right eye and gave these medications. I'm giving her the medication and feeding her milk. The eyes are still very cloudy and she can't see. Did the vet do the right thing? I'm very worried about her

Their eyes normally open by 2-3 weeks of age. If she over that age then it is best to flush and clean the eyes. The cloudinesss can be scarring or swelling. it will take some times, possibly weeks for everything to calm down and especially since she was malnourished when you found her. Keepnwithbthe medicines and rechecks before deciding she is truly blind
