Why is my male cat aggressive, hissing, biting, and fighting? Is neutering the answer?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 18 lbs

My orange and white Tabby cat is behaving badly and hissing and also love's to bite but when he gets out of the house he loves to fight the other kittens

Hi and thank you for your post on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! These can be common behaviors in male cats that are not neutered. I would recommend neutering him soon to help decrease these behaviors a bit. In addition, neutering him will help lessen the risks of cancers later in life as well as help decrease the feral cat population.

    Hello. First, thank you for finding, rescuing & giving Blu a great home. Secondly, make an appointment to have him neutered as soon as possible, otherwise he will torture your other cats & generally make every ones lives miserable. Plus, he will also start spraying & marking his territory. Every one will be happy once he is neutered & his hormones calm down. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
