Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 24 days old
My son's 4 month old kitten had been vomiting and had one bowel movement that was slightly runny. She won't eat or drink anything and isn't playful like she used to be, what could be wrong?

It sounds as Pat is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I'm sorry to hear Mimi isn't feeling well. With a kitten as young as she is, I would recommend she be evaluated by a veterinarian if she is vomiting and not eating. Kittens that age can become easily dehydrated or have a low blood sugar. Vomiting and diarrhea can be due to a variety of causes, including dietary indiscretion, foreign material ingestion, intestinal parasites or another underlying medical issue. I would recommend Mimi be seen by her veterinarian, have any necessary testing done (xrays, bloodwork, fecal analysis) and start any treatment (fluids, anti-nausea medication, anti-diarrheal) that she may need. Good luck!
