My husky puppy is sick, vomiting, bloody stool. What if I can't afford a vet?

My husky puppy has worms, bloody stool, and is vomiting. I gave him worm protector but lately he’s been throwing up everything I’m trying to give him and is very weak. What should I do? I can’t afford a vet.

I'm sorry your puppy is sick, but it really sounds like he needs a vet right away. Yes, he may have had worms-but I am concerned that his symptoms may not all be related to the worms or the deworming medication that you gave. Diarrhea with blood, vomiting and weakness are all classic signs of gastrointestinal viruses that can be serious. Your puppy may have Parvovirus or another type, but if he vomits everything he eats and drinks, that really limits your ability to help him at home. He rrally needs to be properly diagnosed and it sounds like he needs fluids and medications which can only be prescribed by your veterinarian. Ask your vet if they offer Care Credit to help you with the paying for the services. Puppies can get very dehydrated quickly and it is important to get him help right away.
