How to stop a young Ridgeback from barking continuously in his crate?

Pet's info: Dog | Rhodesian Ridgeback | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 65 lbs

I am m from sri lanka My dog is a 1 and 6 months old male Ridgeback.in this case i need advice how to stop him barking cause most of the time he will be out in the garden roaming and playing and the barking starts when he is put in to the cage even though any one is at home also he will be barking continuously. I tired the electric collar also but just for 2-3 minutes he will stop and again it starts. So can i have some advice

Most of the time consistent barking is secondary to anxiety. In such a young dog I would recommend increasing exercise by getting Alex into a training class and starting daily walks or even playing ball. The training will help to focus Alex's energy to wear him out and decrease stress. I would also recommend getting him neutered. He could also have mild cage anxiety. You could try an adaptil collar or adaptil spray to help calm Alex. Adaptil is dog pheromones to help decrease stress. I hope this helps
