My cat has bladder stones. Should I change her diet before testing?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 2 years and 3 months old | 11 lbs

Vet said they haven’t been able to determine what kind of bladder stone my cat has. Should I wait until it is removed and tested before changing her diet

Hi there, and yes, it takes submitting the stone to find out what type it is. Typically it takes about 2 weeks after submitting the stone to have results back. I will usually put my feline patients on Royal Canin urinary SO diet until I have results back, then adjust if needed. Good luck with Kitt Soft Paws! I hope she improves quickly!
