Hi I bought two female gerbils a little of a year ago for my young son they've both be perfect so I decided to get a male to breed. Again everything went perfect he moved in with them but the last past two week the females have been fighting so I decided to split and reintroduce once they had calm down but just today they have been fighting no stop so I bought two other males to move my male in with them but that takes time I was wondering what I should do split the females for good? Thankd

I would split the females for good. Sometimes as they get older and mature they will become aggressive and fight for dominance. Also adding a male into the mix can make them more aggressive. If in the future you decide to try to put them back together I would make sure you monitor them closely as they can injure one another fighting. I hope this helps!
