Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 4 months old | 4 lbs
Recently I've noticed a small red spot in the centre of her chest, she didn't have them earlier. She has the red spot and some of rash on her tummy and chest and down to the private parts. I'm worried that it might be something serious. What could I do to help? Do you have products recommendations for her? I thought about blood test since its right on her heart and changing up her gear as well.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. What you are describing sounds like papules. These typically develop with irritation, allergies and skin infections. I would suggest starting with a shampoo such as Duoxo chlorhexidine PS combination and bathe twice weekly until resolved. I would also recommend starting her on welactin omega 3 fish oil and essential 6 spot on by dermoscent. You can also try Benadryl, the dose is typically 1mg per 1lb of body weight. If there is no improvement or the area worsens I would get her examined by your veterinarian for further testing and treatment. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I am also available via consultation if needed.
