Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 83.7 lbs

Hi doctor. My dog is 2 years old and is a male lab. For a week now hes been extremely sick and not eating his food. Initially he had a bloated stomach and the doctors here gave him several medicines like ivormet, intsacef, taxim, pantoprazol, bcomplex fort, oxytetracyclin hydrocloride, paracetamol. His symptoms were fever of 103.5 and not eating since 4 days, vomitting since 2 days.

If they did not perform diagnostics, that would probably be the next best step. Causes of vomiting in a young dog include food allergy, intestinal obstruction, intestinal parasites, bacterial or viral infection (including Parvo virus), among a few others. Your vet may recommend diagnostics such as bloodwork, parvo testing, intestinal parasite screening, x-rays or ultrasound - not necessarily all at once but prioritizing them based on physical exam findings. The fever could come from bacterial or viral infection, autoimmune disease, or extreme inflammation.
