My parrot is not eating, tired, and sleeping a lot. Is she sick?

my red ring neck parrot is not eating her food properly and is always tired and sleeps most of times,this has been going on since two days, what should I do? Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female | 3 years and 7 months old

Have her examined by your veterinarian. Birds are very good at hiding illness until the situation is serious. If she is showing symptoms and not eating, she may be quite ill. AN exam may diagnose infection (bacterial or fungal) which may require prescription medication. In the meantime, keep her warm and as stress free as possible. Offer a commercial pelleted diet. You can soak it to make a paste which may stimulate her appetite. A commercial handfeeding formula can also be offered to get nutrition into her.
