Why is my male cat sick, vomiting, in pain, and can't urinate?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 28 days old

My cat is very sick. He was fine until yesterday morning but then he went out and came back and started vomiting. Those vomits were just white foam. By evening he started crying in pain. I can't find the source of pain. He sometimes try to poop but he is not being able to do it and he has not eaten anything since last night. What do I do? I live it's Third World country and all the hospitals here are closed due to festivals going on. Please help

If he straining to go to the bathroom I worry more that he is trying to urinate instead of defecate. Male cats can develop a urinary obstruction and they can become very painful and very sick quickly. If this is the problem he needs to see a veterinarian immediately or it could become a fatal situation. Please keep trying to find someone who may be able to see him. I wish there was more that I could do for him. I hope he improves quickly.
