Hi my kitten recently has been have a bit of watery eyes and I was wondering if that was normal or not. He does go outside sometimes throughout the day and the weather is quite cold I don’t know if that might have had any affects. Thanks

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sometimes clear or serous discharge can be observed just as a normal physiologic reaction to components in the environment. If it is a clear discharge and it is not yellowish/greenish, it is likely fine and only transient. If you notice that it becomes thick, yellowish/greenish at any point, have him evaluated by your veterinarian as that could be a sign of infection. Otherwise, he is likely going to be just fine. Good luck!
