Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 15 lbs
My long-hair, fixed male cat has a large clump of feces stuck under his tail. He isn't happy being handled, and would be hard to get to the vet. I've cleaned some with a warm towel, and been badly scratched in the process. He is scooting, but eating well. Do I need to be concerned? Thanks.

HI there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If he is otherwise able to pass feces and you have removed some of it, he is most likely going to be just fine. It sounds like you have already done the best you can so please try to avoid getting scratched further. Good luck and have a good night!
