You It's my cat. She is five months old a got outside and her eye is closed and watering and she won't let me mess with it. I can't get hr to vet till tomorrow. She is five pounds. I have chlor-pro 4 mg tablets for my Pomerania and I wondered if that might help her irritation and discomfort till vet visit tomorrow. Also have theophyllin 100 mg pills but it might be for cough.

Please do not give any dog or human medication to Tiger. Cats are very sensitive to medication and the dosage is much different for many drugs and there is no safe pain reliever for cats. You can put a hot compress on her eye to soothe it or just keep her in a darkened room to keep her eye closed. I'm glad you are taking her in tomorrow. Your veterinarian will examine the eye and will prescribe medication that is safe for cats. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Tiger.
