My cat in heat meows loudly and follows only me. Why is that?

Hi. My cat is in heat. I live with my mom her her boyfriend. When I come home they tell me the only time she meows loudly and constantly is when I get in the house. Also she follows me around everywhere when she is in heat. She is the kind of cat that hates people and doesn't like being around them. Why does she do this while in heat and only to me? Help. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 6 lbs

I would start by getting Binx spayed to stop this behavior. Typically females will respond if male cats are in the area. She also behavioral likes you and has a bond with you so sometimes cats will start being vocal when owners are round. The best way to stop this is really to just get her spayed. I hope that helps!
